How to add and remove TXT records in cPanel? Print

Your TXT records can be easily managed using the Zone Editor section located on the control panel. Open your cPanel and find Domains → Zone Editor:

To create a TXT record, you just need to click on the Manage button:

Click on the Add entry option and change the entry type to TXT:

Once an entry has been created, the Zone Editor section will provide you with the following buttons for already created TXT entries:

1. Button to edit your TXT records
2. Button to permanently delete your TXT records

NOTE: Any changes to the DNS entry trigger the delegation process, which can take up to 24 hours.
